So, there I was... Driving along in my 98 when I noticed the the overhead console (with the compass and temp are) had two broken plastic clips and was just hanging there, bouncing along the road with me....

Well I guess I could just glue it back up there, or I could replace it with another factory piece, or I could BOMB it? Which would you do? Yeah, I want to BOMB it too.

So what have you guys seen aftermarket for this? The stock only supported compass and temperature, is there something in the aftermarket that will give me more? I have been doing some searching and have seen a lot of stuff for the 98.5+, just not sure what can be done with the 98.

Hmmm, I think I will stick with my Cool Engine Shutdown...

I don't have a need for any new switches or anything up there... But new functionality should be considered.

The console that you have doesn't look like mine.

 

yeah....you got the "Lie-o-meter" and compass! haha......i can see why you want actual stuff up there.....ambiant temp would be a good one.......TV?

 

Not really interested in watching TV while I drive... But looking at what is out there, I may get stuck with one...
