Overboost code despite boost fooler?

Overboost code despite boost fooler?
Let's assume that we have a 24 valve truck with an edge box that has an OPERATIONAL boost fooler. What could possibly be causing the ECM to record and throw a P 0234 aka boost pressure exceeded? Let's also assume that it is an active code and not one that is stale. Are there two thresholds in the ECM; ie max operating boost and absolute boost ceiling? Scott

I'd put the scanner on it and take if for a drive. I just bought a bully dog with a boost fooler, It don't work i guess. I throw a p0234 also and my scanner says its putting 24 psi to it. If you ask me......it
(scanner) should only so a max of 19 psi regaurdless of what it really is.
