Ordered new tires

Ok, I finally decided on the tires. After much contemplation, I went with SilentArmors, I like my current Good Years and decided not to mess with success. On my table were Toyo OpenCountry A/T and M/T, Firestone Destination A/T and SilentArmors. I like to have the best possible snow traction, as that is the time when I tend to regret poor traction the most. I don't go into mud a whole lot, and although I like the looks of M/T, I could not justify the extra cost to myself, especially since it meant also extra wear most of the time. When i was stuck on a snowy and muddy road last weekend, about to roll the truck into a ravine full of spruce trees, I would have loved to have M/T but installing chains onto my balding Wranglers took care of the slippery situation.
I wanted also to share that discounttireonline.com have free ground shipping and good prices. The set of 4 SilentArmors ProGrade, 285.75.16 load range E/126 cost $765, and since the shipping was free I caved in and added lifetime replacement warranty on them too, bringing the total to $850. Mounting and balance at the local Supercenter is $8.50 per tire, so I think I am good to go.

I just ordered a set of Cooper discoverers M+S's from discount tire. They do seem to have the best prices, plus they have a special coupon for my area that is $50 off a set of tires.

Good choice, I like mine so far. This will be my second winter on them, and since they've worn a bit I'm anxious to see how the traction is compared to last winter.

I put on the same in a 265, Only have 1,000 miles on them so I hope they do well. They are very quiet and track real well.
