Optima red tops ?

Was at my local costco to buy some batteries and I got confused. they had the battery listed as a group 75/35 but I think they may have ment 35/75. Anyway no 34/78's. What is the difference and would the 35/75 work?

They will work, but are a little small for the battery holders.

Optima's come in only one size.

Two Red Tops will work really good in your truck.

If you ahve a tendancy to run teh batterys down (listening to radio with motor off), then you might want to consider a Yellow Top.

They bounce back alot better from a low or dead charge than the red top.

I believe that battery is smaller than the Group 34/78....you want the big boy (34/78) with 800 CCA.

Costco here doesnt carry that size either....but Walmart does.

If you go to interstate's web page you should be able to find the webpage that explains the difference between the 34/75 and the 34/78. You can also do a search to see who sells interstate near you.. Only problem is not everybody sells the optima brand.. Took me several calls to find someone who sold them..

If you are trying to match stock, go with the 34/78. Don't know if it matters to you, but they make this with ONLY top or side terminals, and with BOTH top and side terminals..

Just picked up 2 last night for $109 a piece. Made them order in both terminals, as the first guy at the shop tried to say they did not make that style, but then I called back again and a different sale guy who know what he was talking about ordered them for me... Now to make time for the install, before my batteries die altogether.

And Walmart in my area did not carry them, nor did any of the other warehouse store.. Good luck in your search..

Talking

Well I found some finally. I was looking around at a GI Joes and they had them on sale for $95 bucks. With both top and side terminals. Just put them in and I LIKE.
