amsoil 15-40 marine grade pulls moisture out of the oil and helps with filtration and carbonizing of oil molecules. eao filter the biggest you can get. but the marine is the way to go.

I think if Delo 400 15w-40 is good enough to come factory in Cummins, CAT, and Detroit its good enough for me. With a Feetguard filter (also factory on Cummins exept Dodge) I was working at the Peterbuilt plant in Denton, Texas and every new motor had a sticker that said factory filled with Delo 400 15w-40. NOT most ALL.

I have used Rotella once and although it is probably a good product it makes the blowby stink so I switched to Delo and have been using it for the last 50K miles.
Recently I got a few cases of Valvoline Blue from Flying J at $5.50 a gallon and used it in my last oil change. It has a stronger smell than Delo but at that price I can't complain.
I use Rotella synthetic in the VW's without any issues.

I have always used Shell Rotella T 15 w 40. I run it in all my vehicles. I have always had good results with this oil.

I have now changed to co-op 0-40 synthetic, has all the API raitings and is 100% synthetic, and up here is $22 bucks for 5 litres, when others are $30 to $40 bucks for 4 litres.
