Now I seriously respect tuned diesel trucks
Doing it kind of 'all at once' must make it feel like a real monster! Congrats, Eero!
Fastest truck in Finland?
I don't use the Walbro but I thought they could supply enough fuel pressure for all you've done??

Thanks! Yeah it feels like one now too!
Well, it seems that it's not enough, but I'm sure when I put another walbro next to the original walbro it will work for sure!
No it just drops from 15psi to 5 and struggles a lot.
I have the original retunr line and the original intake line until the walbro pump near the tank and then it goes all the way to the vp44 at size of 3/8" big line kit.
Nope... Mine might be the second fastest, fastest dodge/lifted truck/ dually but the fastest is a DURAMAX!
Here's a really good article about the fastest truck in Finland:

Yea i dont think you need 2 walbros on there. My 99 has one and its regulated at 19psi and only pulls down to 12- 13 with everything on kill pullin the sled at 600+hp. Do you have a pre strainer before the pump, mabey its clogged, or your regular filter. My pump is hooked up with a relay triggered off the stock harness so it gets full 12 volts, with out the regulator it made 48psi. I have a mallory bypass regulator. But there is no reason for 2 of them.

I'm ordering the Walbro anyway, At least I have a spare pump on my truck whole time when I drive.

But maybe with some NOS.

"And how does it run? Well its first quarter-mile pass in the middle of May was an 11.2 at 125 mph, and there is more to come, as the truck was fighting boost, electrical, and transmission gremlins."

Hey, I tried my quadzilla today, and everything above power level 3 gives hard struggling in the end and the fuel pressure drops under 12psi.
I have the stock 11 quadzilla power levels, how much I'm missing power for not able to use the top 7 power levels?
When I tried the level 10 it pulls real hard until I outrun the fuel.
Oh yeah, and every single one of the power levels from 1-10 gives me some hard surging until the boost goes for over 5 psi. What's that all about? It seems like the quadzilla is fighting for the throttle pedal feeling/map with the stock pcm program because until the boost rises I feel like a dead pedal on a light throttle, but that's not for SURE a dead VP44 sign.
Did you get an E-mail from Quadzilla about the newest software updates?.
It eliminates most or all of the surging we have been dealing with through the beta testing process.
PM me your e-mail address if you don't have this info, and I will forward it to you. I just got it today.

Argh... darn.
I have had my check engine light on since the first time when I installed my Quadzilla, and like their instructions says it should go away, but it has not and I pulled the codes. I got 4 of them!
P1693 , P0253, P1693 and P0122!
My truck works fine except when the fuel pressure drops. But can this be caused by the vp44?
How?
P0253 is a (M) Fuel Injection Pump Fuel Valve
Open Circuit
Problem sensed with fuel circuit internal to fuel injection
pump.
What does this mean? Do I have something wrong inside the vp44 fuel return line end and it could just drop the pressured on the return line or what?
No when I cleared the codes nothing came up again. The first check engine light came on when I tried first time the quadzilla adrenaline, from neutral. Changed the power level from 0 to 10 and revved it a little bit and saw how much more smoke I was making. Then the Check engine light came on, immediately.
Anyway, please tell me that I'll need a new VP44, that would be saving my day...
And Rowj, now I haven't got that e-mail. My email is rx88@hotmail.com , you can send it to me if you like. Thanks!

Just sent the updated software link.
Don't know the P0253 code. I would guess they are all Adrenaline install related and I would clear all codes. Wait and see what comes back.
The other codes mean nothing...all related to the trucks computer being confused by different fueling instructions. Ignore them, IMO.

Erska, pull you're fuel pick-up strainer off. It works but it restrict flow some what? You still using the stock fuel filter? My fass has a return line that you can put in a valve and control the pressure at the pump. I ran mine last week at 30psi. I thought that fuel would be leaking everywhere but not yet. I bet that strainer is plugged. The only problem with no strainer is that you'll have low fuel levels cause pressure swings. I just keep my tank above 1/8 of a tank and so far its been working for me.

Mike is well above 1000rwhp and is, as far as I know now he is on his second engine, which is all built up. Hes been through a couple allisons because at that weight and power level, you cant make them shift correctly. I dont know if he is sticking with the allison or switching to a dodge tranny. The main new thing he is working on is a pretty sweet forced induction setup...big twins over a rather large supercharger.

I'm going to try it without a fuel tank cap today, I had a serious vacuum there when I opened the cap yesterday. It just popped when I opened the cap.
I have a regulator valve.
I have this kit, but mine is older model, 391:
http://www.glacierdieselpower.com/pr...?pf_id=3929852
But I'm not sure how you can adjust the valve.
That walbro is hitting 48psi without the regulator for what I have heard.
Yes I have the stock fuel filter.
I'm also considering this with my walbros:
http://www.glacierdieselpower.com/pr..._id=FW1220-TFK
But I'm not sure that does it any good for me.
Yeah, my truck has total lift of 13". And with the stacks it's 8 ft tall. I have also some audio improvements, like subwoofers, amplifiers etc.
My truck weights 3700kg/ 8150pounds.
Mika's truck is a beast. I have no change for that, but at least I'm not so far behind on a quarter mile, about 2 seconds. haha

But it's still looking pretty stock from outside except the painting and wheels. I have an issue trucks which are lower than I. If you can look over the stock Dodges roof and you feel that your sitting in your truck and not climbing in, then there's something wrong. Trucks should be high.
Rowj: Thanks for your thoughts, If I'm getting the check engine light only when I'm using quadzilla, I guess that's okay then?
GUMP: I am going to record some material when I get the fuel issues solved
I tried my truck with the fuel tank cap open and guess what! My fuel pressure drops now only to a 10psi and the struggling is minimal. Is there a somekind of tank vent or something that might be glogged on my truck? Or is it bad to drive it with tank cap open with no "vacuum" in it?
Maybe I'll figure this out by changing the fuel filters and messing up with the regulator valve by raising the fuel pressure up to 20 . If that thing is adjustable.
Here's my regulator valve:
https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/.../IM0010011.JPG
Can I adjust it?
oh btw: When I floored my truck with the quadzilla on level 10, the check engine light came back on, but it wont when flooring it with quadzilla on level 0...
