Nor. CA shops

Well, the trans is finally giving up the ghost. Driving home from the camping trip, towing the toybox, the converter decided to quit locking up in 3rd and 4th. It would lock, then at about 1/4 trottle it would unlock. Figured it was gonna happen sooner or later. Is there anyone in Nor.Cal anyone would recommend to do a tranny. Ill probably get some parts from ddt,suncoast,ats.... but I want the right guy to turn the wrench. I know these things are rediculosly expensive, so I want it done right. Any help is appriciated!

Don't know about Suncoast but with ATS and DTT you're limited to their approved installers. Would hope that that also makes them good!

Give Blair a call at Performance Diesel - 408-266-1333
He is located in San Jose, I ordered my Suncoast TC & VB from him and he had Dan's transmissions do the install.
Top notch guy to deal with.

You might try Marty at Napa Valley Transmission to see if he knows the Dodge automatics. I hear he is good with the GM automatics...

Good Luck,
