New tires what a difference.
New tires what a difference.
Just replaced my Michelin A/S 265s with a set of Yokohama Geolander HTs LT245x75x16 Load E. I got the 245s (stock on my year) to drop the height of my CTD so I can get an extra inch of clearance between my gooseneck tailer and lift gate. I got out the door at a cost of 465 for a set of 4. 3 Michelins would cost that much not even installed.

What a huge difference in ride over small and medium bumps (large ones still hit the over load springs). Try them and you will like them. Also read the Tirerack.com reviews that is how I picked these. ;D

The steering has tightened up and does not wander as much. Now on to the steering shaft replacement.

Note: If you have oversized tires on your truck remember to replace the spare with the new size. If you don't you can burn out your diff very quickly because of the different RPMs. >
