new single stack kit

this kit comes complete from wally at FTE diesel. I think his website is down right now. here are pics the adapter he makes can make any combo you want this one is to accept 6" stack with 5" bottom adapter comes with 90 elbow flex hose and all clamps and accu seal clamps then Im running it to my 4" down pipe. more this plate mounts to the bed floor not needing to mount the bed rails. adapter and pipe came powder coated and 42" long for the stack so you can cut if needed. post more when put on waiting on my hole saw from my neighbor. when I get it on I will post pics installed

That looks pretty nice, tempting so I never have to clean my fender again....even though it's stained with soot now.

Installed And Done

well install was easy to saw blades and a hole saw. some bolts and washers etc. sound is deeper but not actually easier in the cab. I dont have a loud sound wave hitting on parked cars or buildings when driving by them like before.

this took me 2 1/2 hours at most to do and a couple of beers. not that I endorse using a saw or drill with a beer but it was a hot day. so even the mechanical 6/10 guy I am could do this. really simple Pm me if you have any Questions on it. now I know why single stacks rock.

I choose a couple inches back due to the other trucks I have driven in that had them mounted to the bed rails and closer to cab had alot of in the cab noise. I'm not loosing that much space in my trucks bed IMO. but all and all this was cheaper and more do it yourself kit than than other kits out there on the market.

Aren't members allowed to discuss costs here? I almost understand why dealers can't mention cost but I think members can say how much they pay for parts. I HATE the whole PM-ing of prices, it would be so much easier for us casual readers to just know without the PM-ing hassle of multiple members...
sorry, btw way nice kit!

Yes members can discuss pricing, only Vendors are restricted in that area, and that has ALWAYS been the rule here on DTR.
