Question need some opinions on my next project

Well I decided to build a new front bumper for my next project. I mocked it up with cardboard to so what it would lokk like. I would like your opinions before I go ahead and put this together. I only mocked up the center section and the right side. I am planning on putting some bars on in front of the grille and headlights but I will get to that after the main bumper is done. Thanks in advance.

I've never been a fan of the huge massive bumpers that stick out like that. I mean it sure is great to have a place to kneel when working on the truck, especially if you've got some added height... but I personally don't think most bumpers/bull bars/whatever look goof on the 2nd Gens.

But if I had the ability and know how to fab up my own bumper I'd probably do it to.

I like it man, looks like it will be similar to mine...

here are some pics of what it used to look like, then some pics of the changes i added and the bedliner i am putting on it. the changes are small, just added the small plates to fill in the bottom corners...but makes it look alot better!

Hey looks pretty good! make sure you have 4 brackets like the stock one's do so that the ends are supported as well. and also it looks like (maybe just the angle) that you might have some clearance issues with the tires hitting the corners of the bumper. test it to be sure as it would not be fun to have to torch up a nice product cuz it scrapes. I always like the looks of them as well as the functionality when they have 2 pair of lights in there. fogs and maybe a really good high beam or something as these lights on the dodges are a little behind. Hope this helps a little. Looks great thought!

Looks good! I also think they look better with some lights in them. Breaks up the flatness. I'd put some vents in there too, but that's just me. Maybe some tow hooks or some mounts to put D-rings trough? There's lots of options when you build your own. Looks like you've got a good pattern though.

Thanks for the input guys. I know the options are limitless. GetBlown I actually saw pics of your bumper and liked the looks of it so I kinda boorowed some ideas from you. Hope you don't mind. I think i am gonna go with D-rings, vents and some lights also. I will have to wait till I get that far. I have to price the steel yet. I am undecided on wether to use 3/16" or 1/4".
