I just did a search for all the parts that I will need to watch my fuel pressure. I seek NAPA part numbers for the gauge, gauge bracket, hose, needle valve, etc...

You don't really need the part numbers, its all common generic stuff. For the gauge I like these water pressure gauges, they are industrial, high quality, made in USA, and very cheap:

What PSI range do I need for a stock truck (0-16 or 0-30)?? Am I correct in assuming that the mechanical pressure gauge is better than the electrical Westach as sold by Geno's?

PS: Does is it really not matter if the gauge was designed for water or gasoline if it will be used in a diesel application?

 

A 0-30 would be great, as any aftermarket pumps like a Fass or a Walbro would peg the needle on a 0-15.
As far as gauges go, pressure is presssure , no mater if its air, oil, gas, or water. most plumbing type fittings like valves and gauges are rated WOG with a # denoteing max pressure.(ie 125 WOG,) which denotes 125 pounds pressure,Water Oil or Gas.
