Need Help with Tires

Hey right now im running 285/75/16 Load Range D Dayton Timberline A/T tires on my CTD with only 15,000 miles on them and they are to the freaking wear bars already!!! Im looking to get new tires now unfortunantely and want them to last more than these have. Should I go to a E rated tire? I pull a livestock trailer and race car trailer. I still want the A/T look but dont want to sacrifice short tread life. Thanks

I wonted long life so I bought Mitchlen tires, my friend bought Toyo and like them. Both of our trucks are for pulling trailers. I wonted a new set of tires but I am tired of paying that much money so I found a guy that has a new set and is taking them off to buy some larger tires and wheels. I payed 225 for a set of Mitchlem that have a couple of hundred miles on then. They are e rating.
I was looking on the net an had thought of Bridgestones take off tires.
Good luck Jim

Thumbs up

my dads bfgoodrich all terrains have lasted 15k so far and are almost mint granted we take them off for the winter. He had a pair of 265/75/16 on his stock rims and those lasted about 50k. The others are 295/70/16 on american racing rims... Also all we haul are boats thoguh. we have a 21 foot Novi boat (heaviest boat ive ever seen at 21 feet)
