need help with desision!!!!
OK, What would be the best turbo to run with my set up? I am ready to make the leap, looked at most turbos and still confused. Of course I would like the best of both worlds, quick spool up and lots of good air. Thanks for the help.

Big Blue I was just about to PM you, figured you would have some suggestion. What are you going to do about your EGTs, now that you have the wire tapped?
Thanks

my set up is some-what simular to yours. i called htt and he said that a htb2 would be good for me. and its good up to like 540 hp (somthing like that) so i think that a htb2 would be good for you too. just my opinion, contact paul at htt and he'll advise you
I'm gonna try one of two things. Make a homemade adjustable wastegate for my little HY (42 psi is just a wee bit outside of the operating range
) or I'm gonna swap my roommates old HX35 on there and see how it does. I doubt that either will bring me back down to 1200* but if they can slow the rate of climb that would be great. 5X5 and 275's is just WAY to much for the HY35.

BB, I have the same setup as you, and I don't have a problem with egt's. However, I don't go from a stop to 100 mph all at once.
Gene, you might want to look at the Dodgzilla turbo as well. www.citydiesel.com. This is probably the one I'll go with.

CHEAP SHOT!!!!
There is only one thing better on a 24v...and that is it. You've got a lot better head on your engine. You can run more fuel and still keep things "in line."
Since I took off the 3" stacks and went to a 4" dumped in front of the axle, EGT's peak at 1425*...and that's fast enough to get me in trouble.
What's the saying..."Life begins at 1200*!"
I can't help it my engine thinks it a Cummins/Detroit/Duramax

All I know is that when I stood on it from 40mph, by the time I hit 55-60mph I was at 1450*. That's with a scotty 2 w/hole and 4" straight pipe. If I turn the thing down to 2x2 EGT's are 1200* again. But who wants to run around on 2x2 all day.

Thanks to all, I guess I'll look at the HTT.
