Yep, a #10. Slide it ahead a little from stock. Adjust the boost elbow so you won't go over 30# boost.

A #10 plate is a torque plate. Plates are used in 12 valve engines from 94-98. You will catch all of this stuff if you keep reading and looking around. BHAF = big honkin air filter.

You will want to start with a box or injectors.

welcome aboard

You could install an after market air intake to go along with your 4" exhaust then slide the fuel plate forward , should get you more H P.

What box for a correctly valved engine? I thought boxes were available for us over-vavled folk.

In terms of injectors, you can do a whole lot of stuff before you start looking a 370 injectors or even aftermarket injectors.

boxes are for 24V trucks

fifty more horses or so is easily achievable... A good set of gauges is a must, next get a 10 fuel plate, and a GSK 3K for good distribution, set the plate farther up than stock position, and an air intake.. Is ur tranny manual or auto?

Tx

Welcome to DTR, make sure and put ur ride in ur sig...

If it's a 5 speed, you can slide your fuel plate all the way forward, disconnect & plug the line to the wastegate & you're there. Freebie.

Just wondering... Did you guys notice a drop in MPG after sliding the fuel plate forward and increasing boost?

not at all

my mileage at worst stayed hte same.. with the extra fuel for hte low end that is needed to get the rig moving, u actually use a lil less pedal pressure, so ur savin fuel (probly mililiters, but at pump prices who complains?). this is just my experience talkin, plus read around, ull see guys with more fuel and mods tend to get a lil bit better mileage due to the trucks bein real monsters at certain throttle positions..

Tx
