Mechanical fuel pump
Mechanical fuel pump
Sorry to ask this guys, but with all of the talk about lift pumps and fuel pressure. Cost of pumps etc. I have heard there is a mechanical pump you can buy to replace or bypass the lift pump and have great pressure.
Does anyone know of this beast? Cost etc.?
I just want a reliable truck withoust the constant worry of fuel problems. I do not like the idea of a pump in the tank that the dealer is pushing now.

MITUSA I love it, my last worry on my truck is my fuel pressure. www.opieparts.com around $700ish mechanical is always better
I don't know who all is distrbuting the mitusa, but I know TiminVa at Tre diesel is a distributor. http://trediesel.com/
Mitusa makes the fass hard to justify. If you want a cam the f-1 setup is hard to beat too, just a couple hundred for the pump
