Need help. Installed 5 inch exhaust on my 02 x-cab short bed. Which mounting hole do you use on the frame, there are two one high and one lower and over about two inches. If it is the one directly above the hanger than it is the high one. Thanks

 

on the 24-valve you should use the factory hanger. Only the 12-valve uses the hanger kit. Unless the SB is diff. I have done many many 4" and 5" MBRP exhaust and they have all fit fine but they were all LB. This is on my 96 12-valve LB I cut the hanger becous I wanted it higher, I use it off road and did not want it to get hit like the stock pipe.
