What is max safe boost 98 12v. not on the edge but safe for head gasket and hard parts. PS how many out there block off waste gate tube.

 

If you're still running the stock turbo, you don't want to get beyond 35psi. Not because of head gasket or parts worries, but 35 is the upper limit for the stock turbo. Anything beyond that is just making hot air.

 

The head gasket will hold up to about 50psi......anymore than that and you'll be askin for trouble. But as Justin said, 35psi is max for a stock turbo!!
