Last I heard, the 24V has about 10 rev limiters that all have to be worked around in the same manner, but they are referenced by several different "MAPS" in the ECM, based on TPS position, MAP sensor, IAT, ECT, and tons of other stuff.

Defeating the rev limiter is no easy task, and hopefully it will be done soon.

Maybe you can imagine about 10 sheets of tracing paper with grphing paper boxes on them, and the ECM looks at the top of teh papers, while looking at all 10 sheets simultanously. You change one sheet, and it might get passed teh rev limiter for a second, but pickup a pound of boost, or get some warmer ECT, and the ECM looks at a different page.

Modifying one page is like a 3 week ordeal, and once you get one page done, and modify another page,, the last page you modified, no longer works with your "new" page.

He's been working on this ECM in Italy for a very long time. Modifying an ECM is illegal here in teh States, and I think it was either TS, or TST that got slapped by a governmental hand for modifying ECM's back in '99.

I'll be getting one soon, and I'll have some evaluations in time.

There are still some quirks with the ECM, and currently it is still strictly experimental.

Do you already have an eval unit, or are you waiting to get one from Marco? I would be interested in going for a ride with ya to see what it does. I also want to check out the new pump.

Yes I have one... my post was about how it performed. The pump and the ECM seem to work great together.
