Seeing how it is hard to brake torque with a 5spd, would it be possible to install a linelock on the front brakes similiar to the ones used on drag cars? YES I KNOW THAT IS A GOOD IDEA

 

Sure.....I don't see how installing a line lock in a CTD would be any different than on a drag car......you must really want to do burnouts! If you have enough torque, you can brake torque a 5 spd in 3rd gear.......you just have to be on a roll and slowly get on the brake harder while getting on the skinny pedal harder. The truck will come to a stop while the rears break free. It takes a little practice but it does work.

 

Theres no difference in the braking system of your truck or another lighter smaller drag car.

My advice, build more power and do burnouts without, Im just always afraid of somthing going out on a
brake system, let alone with a trucks weight behind it.
