Ladder Bars-Which Style for Pulling??

Just looking at some different styles of ladder bars... The use will be for sled pulling.. and Daily Driving..
The two styles are:
1. Bar with adjustments on one or both ends.. Hemi style adjustment.. pivots at both the axle and the frame.
2. The bar (or bars) mounted solid to the axles with a shackle connection at the frame.. (This is more how the Old style ladder bars were setup.)

The advantage to style 1. is that is will be a little simpler to build... Style 2 might be a little better for daily driving, because if the angle of travel of the axle is a little off the shackle will allow the axle to move some... but will it still do a good enough job at controlling wheel hop???
Thanks,
Bryan

I've got bushings on both ends of mine and it did stiffen the ride up slightly but nothing to bad. It really helped the axle hop on mine alot. Can't say anything for pulling or towing though.
