K&N
K&N
Well, today after work, I stopped by the local parts store and picked up a K&N air filter... Popped the old one out, in with the new and WOW, I couldnt believe how LOUD the turbo is now!!! It sounds like a jet is flying beside me... Well, just had to get that off my back... haha

No matter what the peanut gallery says about K&N leave it in there. 200K miles with my K&N and I ain't changing based on what some knucklehead says about the lastest aircleaner fad. All aircraft engines ($30K+) use K&N.

My feeling on people who gripe about K&Ns is that simply don't know how to read the directions.
Most folks way over-service them, over oil and fail to use sealing grease around the edges.
I don't even open the airbox with my drop-in K&N until 100,000 miles has past.
It's useless looking at any filter to tell if it's clogged, there's not one person in the world who can do that, a clean looking one can be totally clogged and dirty one just fine. In fact peaking in the box is counter productive, you risk losing the outer seal.
