I don't think that this should lead to tranny wars over here. This will be a good place for tranny wars over there, Bill K is guaranteed not to be locked out

You know I use DTT, and I state that I am happy with it. I don't comment on ATS because all I know about them is from their website.

Since most of the good people on this site are here for reasons other than &quot;starting wars&quot; for the stupidest reasons, i.e. my wax is better than your wax and you're an idiot because I'm right and you're a twit, adnauseam, I fail to see how having another reference bookmarked will be the source of &quot;war material&quot;, well, at least on this site. True, I do know that there are those who exist only for the cheap thrills they get for being trolls. You think &quot;that other site&quot; has problems, visit the eBay forum boards and try to follow some of the diatribe that gets passed along as reasonable thought. Somebody got the ATS site's board? I'll bookmark it so I have a balanced bookmark system. I'm searching for information, trying to get the best bang (or is that BOMB?) for very few precious dollars available. Personal recommendations weigh very heavily in the search. You like a certain product? I ask, Why? Because of this and this and that!! Great, now I can balance that with other observations and come (I hope) to a reasonable conclusion. Is one transmission service better than another? That's like asking why do we like Dodges and not Fords. Why do we prefer diesels and not gassers? I lean more towards one transmission based on personal recommendation from several sources and proximity to the service. I mean, if you live within 30 miles of the home of one of the &quot;contested&quot; services, it weighs in very heavily in the considerations. Enough for today, putting away the soap box, maybe I'll go see what Hoss'es latest spewings are.
