Joined the headgasket club
That's right, popped the headgasket a few days ago. Truck's fixed and back on the road already.
Not a big deal I guess, it was leaking at the passenger front corner for awhile now, was only a matter of time. Funny thing about the whole thing was that all the head bolts were loose and 9 of them spun out by hand! Not sure what was going on there?
Thankfully, I didn't blow the head gasket, the head basically came loose and it just pumped all the coolant out of the block, no coolant went into the engine or rad.
Bunch of new parts and a few hours labor and on the road again. Runs real good now, so good that now it's slipping the clutch in 5th and 6th!!! Guess that's next on the list.
