Its Time for Injectors! need some advice

As you can see i don't have any fueling mods yet. What is the best path to take for mild fueling mods. I was thinking DD1 or 2's but will the clutch hold 2's. Any other injector choices? Also high flow banjo bolts? No boxes at this time or foreseeable future.

The clutch can take RV275,DDI, or DDII injectors. However if you plan on making the most from your injector swap then you need some kind of boost fooler. Otherwise you are stuck running at the stock boost level, not seeing the full potential of the injectors, and also you will be seeing elevated EGTs.

The stock clutch in my 01 did not hold just DD2s.

My stock '01 ETH Clutch could not hold 275's and a Power Puck.

The ETH loves injectors! a set of DD2's and an EZ box should net you about 110 HP over stock, and a slipping clutch.

DD2's by them selves and a PS Boost module should net you close to 90 HP over stock.

DD3's an EZ, and a PDR 40 gave me 369 HP on the DDP Dyno....which is in Monroe.

But first get a pyro and a fuel presure gauge in the truck!

I dont know about injectors and stock clutches, but mine would hold the TST pm 3 at stock, but when I added the edge ez, well................

Now I am running the two boxes and a set of DDIII's with the HX 35, and I sit at 376hsp, and 888tq. This was at Clarement, Virginia With David Dunbars dyno.

I have DD3s in my 98 ETC. Turn the boost up to find the fuel cut, then back it off a pound or two... that will get you in the ballpark of maximizing your combo.

I have a homemade boost fooler (clipping circuit from Radio Shack parts) that my butt-dyno tells me gives a little extra power at top end (fuel cut doesn't come in as early?). Should have it on the dyno in the next few weeks to confirm.

Without the boost fooler, my truck made 297HP and 587ft-lbs at the wheel on a Mustang dyno...

MonroeDiesel, you will slip your clutch with DDII's my personal opinion on injectors is the ATS I really like mine, lots of power and controllable smoke and a very noticable differance in performance. Just my 2 cents. Mike
