Isspro gauges from VulcanPerformance
Isspro gauges from VulcanPerformance
Anyone buy they're gauges from them? The just seem a lot cheaper than everyone else, especially since the fp gauge comes with a issolator. Are there a-piller pods of descent quality (fit and finish)? Also, do I need to run a snubber valve with the fp gauge if I'm gonna use a issolator as well?
also, if I got gauges from them, would they include all the wiring I need to wire them into my dash lights, and supply power to them? I checked out dieselmanor.com, and their kit also includes instructions with color photos (always a plus
) and includes all needed wiring, besides the sinding unit connections, but I'm looking at $400 for their kit vs. $285 shipped to my door from Vulcan.

I'm planning on putting mine on the a-pillar. I can get wire and connectors at work if need be, but it would be nice if everything came in the kit. Which gauges do you have? I'm just wondering how the white ones with blue numbers and pointer will look at night.
You can't go wrong with Vulcan. Especially with his new isolator, nothing but the best from Eric.
I don't know if it comes with wire or not but that will only cost you about $2.00.
I have an 02 and the EV gauges with the red pointer look like they came from the factory.

also, do I need to run a "snubber" valve if I'm using an isolater? and not to sound stupid, what exactly makes up a "snubber" vavle? I was told one of these isn't a bad idea to keep the gauge needle from bouncing around, especially since I have a FASS system. And where can I get a pressure port to put inline with my fuel supply line? Vulcan has them cheap, but they're for 1/2" line, and my FASS uses 3/8". PowerbyPoole has them, but they're $20 plus $10 shipping and handling, can't see paying that much for one.
I have the white with blue numbers and they and they illuminate really nicley.
Eric is a very nice guy and will help answer any question you throw his way... as far as the guages i got my isspro fp gauge from him and was very suprised that the isspro gauge is a much better look and quality then my autometer z series gauge...

Heres a pic. of the gauge. The one of the two gauges, the bottom one has a blue cap on the bulb and its not as bright. I just havent taken it back out yet.
The truck isnt running so they are a little brighter but its midnight and I didnt think the neighbors would appreciate me lighting it up.
when I priced them on dieselmanor, I chose the 0-60psi boost gauge, fuel pressure gauge with isolator, egt gauge with the weather pack connector (that was extra), and a 3 hole a-pillar pod (w/speaker). I picked the Isspro EV's with the blue #'s and pointer. But they don't include a fuel supply hose to the isolator, so thats extra too. The vulcan kit seems to come with everything you need, for way less. I'm still trying to find out if I need to run a snubber valve if I'm already planning on using an isolator. anyone?
I do not run a "snubber", I have a tap in my fuel line that allows me to run a line to the isolator. I believe Eric puts a reducer in the line that is plumbed to the isolator.
