Which injectors?

I am wanting to do a injector upgrade in the near future and I don't know which ones to get.I have a H.O. truck and hear they respond to injectors beter than a box so I want to do that first.I plan on a drag comp down the road.The thing is I tow with the truck and I need to be able to keep the egt's in check.I don't usually tow real heavy,4 horse trailer and some horses.So what sticks will work well for this use.I plan on leaving the box completely off when towing so that the only source of heat will be the injectors.I also like some smoke sometimes so I want to be able to roll it once in a while(w/o the box).Which ones should I go with?Thanks

If I remember correctly, the HO's run hot, even stock.
So, get guages first. Then, get some mach 1.5 or 2.0 from Don M.
I bet you need a better/bigger turbo too. If you feel you can't afford them, then the same power level from others will smoke more.
you will need a boost fooler or a box so it doesn't set a over boost code also.
Also, don't turn the box off, just turn it down, it will like the timing it gets with it still turned on.

Agree...Know many who tow with stock turbo and Mach 1.5's. Don builds a set for towing, I believe. With a boost fooler your egt's will be easily controlled...and you'll love the 40% increase in power.

A stage 2 jammer would work great also.

I went with the Bosch RV275 injectors. I'm was trying
to be conservative and not looking for max power , but
better low end and throttle response.

I don't have the optional on/off switch for the Van Aaken.
I did have the Van Aaken before the injectors. I could feel
an increase in power when I added the injectors. I really
think the box and injectors work good together. They are
both on the mild side as far as power mods. but added together
they work provide a good increase. What I was looking for
was increased throttle response and take off power. The truck
always had good power once you got into boost and rpms. This
combination just gets you into the boost and power alot quicker.
The engine now "revs" and pulls of idle like a gasser , tows like
a "Big Rig" and gets mpg like an "import" . I couldn't be happier

What is the difference in the DD2's and the DD jammer 2's other than 5hp?And what are the mach1.5 and mach 2.0'srated as horsepower wise?Either way do you think I can tow with this setup on a stock turbo?

I got RV275's. A definite nice throttle response but I need an Edge EZ to top it off. The advantage is that they are cheeeeeeap. Figure about $200 after you sell your old injectors.

DD2 = Extrude honed injector
Jammer2 = EDM injector

Mach 1 = 65hp
Mach 1.5 = 85hp
Mach 2 = 105hp
Mach 3 = 130hp
Mach 4 = 150hp
Mach 5 = 200hp
Mach 6 = 220hp
Mach 7 = 240hp

From what I have read,Don's injectors are the very best.I am kinda leaning towards them.Do ya'll think I can tow with mach 2's on a stock turbo and no box or box on very low?I will have a upgraded exhaust by the time they go in.

Should not be a problem. Mach 2's are great. Might have a little smoke with stock turbo when towing heavy but EGT's should be fine. I had Mach 2's and an EZ on a non HO and could not gey over 1150* with a stock turbo.
Don's injectors are the only ones for me. You get what you pay for!
