Hypertech + Van Aaken stack

Hi im a new guy here actually i have been lurking for quite some.

I have a question, I have been running a hypertech programmer on my truck on stage 1 for quite some time. And recently i just picked up a van aaken smartbox r for the lint that was in my pocket. can i stack these two if i keep the hypertech on stage 1 ?

They both do timing right. IMO...then no.

I would just run the VA box. It's a very good plug and play box.

Ok so tonight i took the hypertech programming off and just ran the van aaken box. nice indeed. before that though i ran the hypertech on stage 1 and the van aaken on the low setting and it seemed it had alot more power, i was loving it when cruising down the highway with my egts at 500-600 doing 60 mph. Is there a reason why i shouldn't run these two stacked ?
