hydraulic/steering experts look here

If I wanted to get a power steering pump that is better than or equal to the stock unit that is belt driven, where would I get one?

You can try AGR or PSC......basically the same thing but they are belt driven pumps and MUCH better than stock.

This is a sweet kit, but a little pricey........will have NO problem turning those tires.

Im not looking for hydro assist yet, just a different pump that I can run off a belt because I got this Bendix air compressor I want to put on the engine and it mounts where the vacuum pump and power steering is. The compressor I got came with a steering pump, but the whole thing is 16.5 inches in length. so I have 2 choices:
1. run a belt driven power steering pump and electric vacuum pump

2. Move the drivers side engine mount about 4 inches back

I dunno about that. I'm on my secnd one in 8 months and about to be on my third. The first one wouldn't return to center after you turned it to the left and this one is puking fluid during low speed maneuvers such as backing up a trailer.

can I use just a regular hydraulic pump? one from northern toool that does like 17 gpm and 3k psi? I can regulate it down to 1500 for the steering but I want to hook up a winch and hydro assist also.
