Question Hughes Performance Transmisisons

Anybody ever used them? Good, bad results. My dad called them and they said they have a kit for 1360$ and it has a 3 disk torque convertor that is good for 700+ hp. I know alot of guys like Georend or Suncoast but just wondering about hughs. O and how much would a TC and Valve body cost from Georend and will it be good for 500 hp

Any Input?

Thanks Adam

I didn't know they were entering the diesel market.

They are VERY well respected in the gasser dragracing market.

But if you went with their diesel products, you'd be one of the first, AFAIK.

I am not saying that i am going with them but i was wondering if anybody knew anything about their product. I know they are very well respected in gass torque convertors.

What about georend, how much hp and tq is a 3 disk TC and a valvbody good for? How much $? I am wanting to be able to support about 500 hp reliable. Can't really do any mods on a stock trans b/c its got 200k, still shifts great but even if it was brand new it would still slip with #8 and a 3GSk
