- push the brake hard enough to keep the truck stopped, hit the accelerator until you build some boost.
Alright thanks guys....
Sorry, sorry, sorry Black diesel I didn't mean to steal the post. By the way, I love the stax. Gonna get them put one when we get a 3rd gen in about 4 months (we gotta get married 1st).
As for that black stuff, that 24v of yours won't do much smokin w/o a box. I'd just wait and get a comp, I'm stoked about mine. w/o my injectors i can toss that black stuff all over the place. But i'm also a mile high too, so i dunno. If you really want smoke, I'd get a box sorry again man

Here's a neutral rev from Saturday. I had to use a timer for the pictures. Beginning, middle, end. I moved the camera after the first picture to get less truck in.
I would say the CaTCHER fuels off idle.......
I would say the CaTCHER fuels off idle.......
My 12v auto will puff some black when you punch it in idle.....will even build 2-3 psi of boost........it runs a 13.90 @101 mph and the only way I can get a half decent launch is at 10 psi in 4WD.....15 psi would be even better but Idon't have billet shafts......IMO, when you see how hard it lauches in 4WD at 10 psi, I should have billet shafts now......I have not seen a 24v truck with this level of fueling down low.....the truck is just silly in 2WD!! That said, I have yet to experience a MAD equipped 24v first hand.....from the feedback I have read here it seems the MAD is the only way to bring up the bottom end fueling to the level of a properly fueled 12v.
my 97 with the hx35/14 wastegated housing would build 7 to 8 lbs of boost free reving at 4k. 12v 215 trucks can put out a very big cloud of smoke with just a throttle blip. all you have to do is crank the star wheel and slid the afc, lots of smoke.
My truck will shoot a pretty good puff of smoke from idle to 3k or so. My buddy has a 24 valve with injector tips, and a hypertech programmer, and it runs darn good, and it will smoke almost as much as mine down low. It runs good, and will smoke a lot for only having those 2 things.
