I just confirmed that I have a 53 block about 2 weeks ago. I've got 148k on her so far. I'm guessing I'm pushing just a hair over 400hp with my 150hp sticks........I need MORE air bad.

So far so good, but I hope I didn't just jinx myself......

I seen bone stock trucks with the 53 crack and others with tons of mods never crack if it's going to crack it will if your stock or not.

Is the 53 block a cavitation problem? Don't most of the manufactures have an additive for the antifreeze to eliminate the cavitation?

I've got some test strips ford uses to check their 7.3's.

It cracks becuase of a thin casting, and heat/cool cycles. Cavatation is not an issue with the B series, it's not a wet sleeve design.

I'll let you know at what point mine fails, if it does. My first barage will contain injectors, HRVP and Smarty.....then we'll go from there.

Yes that was Gus Farmer doing all that spamming till he got banned twice. I wish you guys could have heard him on the phone begging me to let him back on the site.

He swore on everything holy that it was a mistake, he never meant to spam anybody and he would NEVER do it again. So he proved what a lying piece of crap he is by logging back on under a different name and spamming people again.

I would avoid Farmboysdiesel like the plague! He has PROVEN himself to be a liar and in my opinion not trust worthy.
