I've read some posts referring to increasing line pressure but have yet to read the actual procedures.
One post showed a picture of the tranny with arrows pointing to what I assume is the adjustment points but no instructions.
will I need to connect a gauge somewhere to see what my line pressure is doing or do I just give one of these adjustment points a few turns figuring that each turn = X increase in pressure?

Why do you think you need to increase your line pressure? Before I starting turning anything I'd give Bill a call. You may do more harm than good but if it's recommended he'd be the one to walk you through it......and yes you will need a gauge, just not sure how much PSI you would be looking at.
capt.Ron- Higher line pressure can help your tranny to survive, but too high line pressure will blow out seals (like front piston seal) and this reduces tranny life to zero. So you'll need a gauge to adjust it properly. The exact procedures can be found in the shop manual. (By the way one of the best investments I ever made- DC shop manual)

I got mine on CD also...from e-bay for $19.00. Actually for $29.00...first one I bgt ($10.00) was just gassers...had no CTD info in it!!! Harder (for me anyway) to find the exact info I'm looking for on the CD than I feel it would be with the hard copy...but the price was right and printing out individual pages is very nice.

Please don't.
Jack and Lary can't afford a copywrite violation lawsuit.
If you really want a pirated copy, and you could live with yourself,
EBAY has a number of them for sale.
If you want a real genuine copy that will allow you to sleep at night,
www.techauthority.com sells service manuals, even CD versions.

Not trying to start a flame but as long as the info is shared at "No Charge" I see no copywrite violation.
Of course I see no problem with Kazaa, Bearshare, or the old version of Napster.

The basic principle behind it is that for each copy that's made illegally there's one copy less sold and therefore the author/artist is not getting his $$$ for his work.
The only time you may freely copy stuff is if it says so- in the DC manuals there's always a § about not reproducing it in any form. So it's simply forbidden.
Kazaa et al. were interesting since they just made tools that would allow users to exchange files. There's nothing illegal with that, but still the users were illegal when they used it to exchange copyrighted material. But for the companies the single user is a small target, a site like the DT would be a big, easy to find target for prosecution under copyright laws. (And some others)

Well if anyone wants to make a copy and share it I'll happily accept and pass it on to anyone who wants it as well. I see no ethical problem with sharing info and will sleep like a baby on Cough Syrup!!!
