How Does This Sound??

Hey all. Well I've had my Cummins for 2 weeks now, and the bombing is about to begin. So far it has 80hp injectors, 4" MBRP, and a K&N. Here is my plan for the truck, which will be only a daily driver/weekend fun truck pulling a light trailer every now and then. Tell me what you think.

Edge HOT Juice with Attitude
FASS 95gph
Garrett Stage 3 BB Turbo
SB 3250DD Clutch
AFE Stage 2 Pro Dry

Does this sound like a good streetable combination and decent power on tap? Eventually down the road I will do studs, o-ring, bigger injectors, Smarty, and possibly twins. But how does this setup sound for now? Thanks and this site rocks!!

Sounds like it's gonna be fun to drive after the BOMB's are on!!!
You could even go bigger on the injectors. Mach 4's maybe?

Yeah it had the 80hp injectors in it when I got it, so I think I'm just going to keep them in there for now and see what the truck can do. I'm very interested to see how that DD engages and also how the turbo does. I've been told by another guy that has the same turbo on his 3rd gen that it lights like stock, but cleared up his smoke to just a puff. So we'll see.

That's a nice setup there. Have you heard anything about the 3250 DD? I want the holding power of the Dual, but don't really want too rough of engagement or drivability issues, but I know the higher you go the tougher it gets, lol.

the bottom pic is a SBC DD 3600 # 12 CB Sprung Hub in an 06. He likes it just a little noisy when the clutch is pushed in.
don't know much about the 3250.

If you are thinking about twins go with a turbo you can easily adapt to twins later so you don't have to buy 3 turbos, only 2. A 62mm S300 will easily clear 80hp injectors and an edge and is infinitely adjustable (62mm, 64mm, 66mm, 71mm). Later on you can put an s400 under it and have a really strong set of twins.
The garrett may take you as far as you need to without going to twins too. I don't know anyone running one so i don't have a comparison.
Sounds good. I have done a couple clutches on 2nd gen dodges, so if you need some help or have trouble I am in Lincoln.

Nice to see somebody from the state. The Garrett is supposed to be able to support 550 hp, and I know that Garretts generally have pretty good reliability, so I'm pretty sure that's what I'm going with for now. Plus the price is right too.

Hey just a thought but instead of the juice with attitude, look into the Quadzilla "Adrenline" It can also come with a controling guage set up. Lot of people around here run them and like them alot. Do a search you will be reading for months about it. Just a thought provides a lot more options.

Hey if the price is right go for it. The garrett's price was usually wrong when I looked.

ewatts2003...i had an 01 with the edge juice with attitude then had the quad adrenaline on it...wish i would have never taken the edge off. the quad was great dont get me wrong, but the edge seem to have just as much power on the "hot" code than the quad did and i had a few issues with the programming on the quad that i never had with the edge. also the quad only allows you to monitor one guage at a time with the stock set up, the edge allows you to monitor 4 guages at once....again just my .02

Add the Pulse to the AD and you can monitor everything and anything you want. Pluse high idle, turbo timer, Warm up mode, custom tuning & much more.

I am pretty set on the Juice w/ Attitude. I have also decided to go with the AirDog 100, and the 3250 DD. The only thing that is really still up in the air is the turbo. I like the idea of the Garrett, but have also been looking at the BD Super B and Super B Special turbos. The biggest thing that attracts me to the BD turbos is the fact that they sell a bolt on kit to upgrade to twins down the road.

I think the BD special would be a good charger as a single. I agree with getting the bigger fuel system. You will always wish you had. It is a steep slope!
