One of two things is happening here. 1- your boost gauge is way off and your uneducated enough to know so. 2- your just FOS. A bone stock 6oh wont peg a 40 psi gauge. they run high 20's low 30's in stock form.

about hthe 6.0 not being able to peg 40 that is pure bs cuz ive witnessed it numerous times. pullinga sled with programmer to max and a horse trailer or a hole shot. and the one that hit over 40 was in the winter and had a programmer on it and wasnt for that long so if oyu would read and not jump to conclusions you might understand it was a 04 6.0 not the new ones.but you must be the expert since you own a cummins. thinkgs can happen, not everyrthing is normal. im not saying im 100% acurrate, but it scared the **** out of me when it happened. so whatever you say has to be right so just drop the whole **** thing. im not on here to frickin argue, i posted what i saw and you can not believe it if you want im not sayin PS is better than Cummins both are very reliable, hence they are the top selling trucks on the market. and i never said the truck was bare stock so get over it already.
