high performance tranny rebuild kit

I am debating on who to buy a complete high performance kit from. I am looking at DTT. I know they are good. Are there any better priced competition?

I bought the Suncoast Master kit and it has been working great. Any of the top three will work fine. i believe they all use the same clutches anyway. (Alto Red Eagle)

Does your torque converter get alot more power to the ground. What was included in rebuild kit and how much. DTT is 2500 for TQ, VB, and all the cluch, gasket electrical etc.

Just the more agressive torque convertor will make it seem like a different truck - add a shift kit for even more hookup - a rebuild kit completes the upgrade for a hi-mileage trans - take a look at PATC in Shreveport for more in-depth information involving the buildup of their Ramzilla 47\48 auto - main advantage of the Goerand\equiv is they actually run their rebuilt trans\convertor on a dyno to prove it out, reveals any problems with the rebuild, helps to eliminate early failures - if you rebuild it yourself, your truck becomes your dyno-test - something to consider at decision time..........

just got a DTT. love it. firm shifts. but a little turbo lag it seems like. had the smarty on #8 for the first time tonight and off the line with no barke boost it lagged a little. but i thik thats because of the low stall.

Yes, its a slightly lower stall than stock so you have a longer powerband. Prices were as follows...

Suncoast Master Rebuild Kit $500
Valve Body $400
Triple Disc TQ Converter $1200
