High Tech Turbo has a stage 3 upgrade kit for a stock 35 that will turn it into a hybrid 40/35. It works great!

I wouldn't think you'd get much over 375 rwhp with a 35. I could be wrong though.

Wow. I stand corrected. I didn't realize the 35 was capable of supplying the air needed to keep the egt's in check.

What class are you wanting to run in? Water injection would help out a lot with EGT's when pushing a lot of fuel with a little turbo, but it'd bump you up out of the stock class...

i have to control my egts with my foot, it is not idiot proof. it is short burst power only, like 60 to 120. but more than enough to blow off the fords, and chebbys.

Tyler,

It won't keep EGT's in check. Although it will support over 500RWHP with lots of tuning.

You could dyno, sled pull, or drag race,, but you couldn't tow at THAT HP. You could tow with 250RWHP, or 300, but not at 500.

There was a thread awhile back that had a chart GO 4LO made that listed HP ratings for different turbo's.

You can run a 35 pretty hot but not for long When I had my old 35 on I had enough heat to get a flame about 4-5 inches out the stack like the pro stock tractors But she didnt last long.

I did in the neighborhood of 430HP with my previous 97 model truck.

It will be hard for Aaron (Dodgeman01) to achieve high HP anyways because he only has a 160HP pump.

However the stock HX35's as well as WH1C's will support more than 375hp! In fact we will see just what Aaron's HP is this coming up weekend in Falmouth KY at our 2nd Annual KYDTR Dyno Day/Sled pulling event.

Aaron I still say your best bet to stay with the stock charger is to go with the Stage 3 Hybrid from HTT. You will either have to rob the turbo off your 93 to keep the Green Machine going or just park it though cause it take's 'em about 3 or 4 days to get it, do the work, and send it back.
