The hemis in 2010 trucks are 390 hp I believe.

 

yeah those lil hemi trucks will scat..they do a great job of getting there power to the ground too, iv dropped a couple cummins trucks in dad's..but thats allright put a lil weight in the back and see where the hemi is then.

 

Holy thread resurrection on my part but, I test drove a 2010 Ram 1500 CC 4x4 on Saturday and it had some sack with it... 390fwhp, 400+lbft..... nice little runner... don't think it would hang with my truck from a roll but no doubt I would have to 3rd gear launch and then play catch up to play stoplight to stoplight with one... I'd get it in the quarter though.

Lighter truck with a tighter converter and better shift programming and it's really not a surprise that a lightly modded Cummins can get beat by a Hemi.

I'm pretty sure the 2009-2010 Hemi is a solid 15 second engine... I think Allpar took a reg cab shortbed 4x2 down to 14.4 in the 1/4 on the stock tune...

 

i kicked a hemis *** with my 75 ford f250 hi boy with a 390 fe 4 speed and 4:10s.

 

I feel ok about this since I believe the only time I will see a hemi with an 11,000 trailer would be on the side of the road
