Help Please!!Mads Smarty

Ok for those of you that know more than me. How many horses would the smarty on #3 give me and how would that work on a stock tranny and stock turbo? I know the truck gods will help me. Will it help or hurt mpg`s?

It should give you an extra 60-65 hp, level 3 will be ok on a stock trans, anything over 6 will exploit any issues with your stock trans, it will feel better than you SuperChips, also you dont need to push the pedal to the floor to achieve full throttle, you can run 9 on a stock trans but be careful with your hard takeoffs, I ran 9 for a long time on my trans whwn stock and had no issues, good luck.

Even on #3 the tranny might not last that long. Every smarty setting gives about the same power, it just comes in earlier on higher numbers.

HP increase at peak power is more like 35-40hp, but it will bring up other areas of the tq curve by as much as 60-65hp.

It's hard on driveline stuff because the power comes on so fast and so hard.

You can run any number you want, they're all about the same HP. The only difference is the higher the number the quicker it brings in fuel. You already know that the odd number have timing added while the even don't.

With that said, the lower number will be better for you trans because it will require more pedal to get the fuel. Pedal input has a relationship to line pressure in the transmission.

#3 is my favorite of the programs.
