Help with GSK adjustment
I took my truck to a shop here in town to install a superb turbo and gsk 3000. When I picked up the truck it ran like a dog.The idle was high, low power, higher egt's and low boost. I took it back to them and when I picked it up the second time it was a little better but still not as good as before. I got the truck home slid the plate full foward and adjusted the gsk springs to 50 thousands. It now is much better but still has low boost at lower rpm.
I get slight smoke at take off then it clears as soon as the boost starts.
In the morning the idle will bounce up and down about 50 rpm.I have the idle set to 900 rpm then when I put it in gear it drops to about 750.
could the gsk cause low boost at low rpm?
