headgaskets?

has anyone made an MLS headgasket for the 2nd gens yet?

i found a very opinionated thread from 2004 that had alot of arguing in it. i figured 2 years later someone would have made an MLS headgasket for 2nd gens by now...

they work great in the 3rd gens...lets get some for our trucks and eliminate the need for o-rings (to a point, after 70psi you may still need rings)

i know there is alot of talk about how difficult it would be to modify a 3rd gen stock MLS...who makes the MLS for daimler chrysler??? could they be contracted to make 2nd gen replacements given the success of them in other applications?

i would love to put an MLS and some ARP studs on my truck and know that im safe unless i want BIG twins and a p-pump

We have spoken with manufactors about making us some MLS gaskets but the front money was way too great.

doug...i know its a tough and competitive world, but do you think any of the big(ger) name shops may decide to front the money and get these things made?

I doubt it but one never knows..... We were going to need to order something like 2,000 units to make it happen. This is a ton of capital to expend on a motor that is no longer produced.
