How much boost pressure will the stock head gasket with head studs hold.any info would be great.

 

How good is your current head gasket? Been running lots of egt's? If everything is in good shape and you torque the studs to 135 ft*lbs, you should be ok to 50+psi. Some guys get higher boost numbers. Head gasket don't like high drive pressure and high egt's. Studs allow you to abuse the head gasket more than the stock bolts. Bucks down, you could just crank-up the torque on the stock bolts.

How are you planning on putting them in?

 

max egts have been 1250.Iam planing to install bd twins,I was just going to install one at a time .nothing to lose if it fails at some point I will pull the head.
