I wouldn't stud any Cummins without bottom tapping the block holes.

 

I ve been runnng 50-60 psi for around two years now. I have not studded the head yet. Why.....well ever take apart an engine that has been together for along time? They seem pretty well sealed up sometimes, plus the 500$ for freaking studs. I tow heavy at times, up to 18k. I d like too , but hmmmm it hasn t been a problem yet.
