head gasket

anyone heard of or ran the "cometic" head gaskets. i found them on the site www.cometic.com my cousin runs them in his race car with no problems, but i have always been told to run cummins gaskets

i havent run one but i have heard alot of bad about them for the 12v. that bieng said it seems to be attributed to poor surface prep. if the block and head were deacked and preped to cometics specs i bet they would hold great. but the average guy just pulls and decks the head. so if your just doing a head gasket with a decked head i would use cumminsk, or ive heard the felpro one is just as good.

Do a search for "Cometic Gasket" and there is not a lot of good things said about its use in our engines.

thanks guys, i had a feeling that something wasnt right, i will gust stick to o-rings and cummins gasket, thanks again
