I was talking about your other post, inter-racial thing. HELLO? anyone at home...

It should be shipped to your house Saturday. With my luck it will be shipped to Guam. Ask John how lucky I am.

Oh man,......the dreaded "Czech" VP-44 huh??? WOW!! Boy, there has been some failures of those pumps at the dealers here.

Yeah Phil, Mike has had some "bad luck" lately, I have to vouch for him there.
But,....all is well that ends well and it sounds like another VP is on the way.

Good luck to you guys this weekend.

John, I'll call you this weekend and let you know how everything goes. You were right as usual with the info on the "Black Beauty"

On a side note. The guys that shipped the Czech pump had I hard time believing I even knew what a CZ pump was... He had me double check the pump for him over the phone. When I mentioned the pump was painted black he said; OH, I'll get you another pump shipped out today.

I got the pump in this weekend. The install went without too much trouble. Kept bending the puller bolts, got some SS bolts and the gear came right off. The truck runs great, more power than before, egts still get hot per the gauge reading. McMopar let me use his tester and the guage was off about 300 degrees on the top end, example if he sent a 1500 degree reading to the gauge it would read 1800, but was more accurate on the low temps. I'm going to call Isspro to see what they say.

EGTS climb slower. In other words, it would peg the gauge before at 65-70 I'm at over 90 when the gauge pegs after the pump install. Hope that clears it up.

Phatboy, That's exactly what I'm doing, I'm going to wait until I go back to the same dyno and I'll post my results again.

Just wanted to give an update. I called Isspro with regards to the gauge test. They said I couldn't run the amplifier box from the 1500 degree gauge. He said change the amplifier box and everything should be fine. The 1800 degree gauge came with a new box, but I didn't see anything on the box that indicated it was different from the 1500 degree box. This makes perfect sence with what we were seeing from our testing, about 300 degrees off.

I've learned something from everything I went through in past couple of weeks...

John P, You can tell me I told you so. I won't get angry...
