Has anyone tried this?
Has anyone tried this?
I want to try stacking edge ez with my current tunner. I have ran bolth but not at the same time. I dont know if the stock turbo will handle that much fuel? I want more power but I dont want pierce my pump wire. any chip info would be great thanks.
Since the your tuner and the EZ are both restricted to only allowing more advance and are very limited to the duration increase they can provide because there is no wire tap, you made find that there will be too much advance for that stack if the tuner is turned up.....I can't say for sure but 2 separate timing advance only power increases does not sound like a great idea to me. For not much more money, you can have a Comp that will provide a much larger power increase and the ability to quickly and easily control fueling levels over a wide range and the rate of fueling - all at the push of a button. Don't be afraid of the wire tap! There are a few companies out there that offer the pump covers that hide the wire tap evidence if warranty is an issue. As for the turbo, you should be fine with the stock HX35.....what hp are those stage 2's? Injectors over 100 hp with a fueling module will begin to push the limits of the stock turbo - especially when towing......another good reason for the Comp - you just turn it off when it is too much.

TST, BD and Bluechip diesel all offer pump covers that seem to work well judging by the feed back I have read here. 80 hp sounds right for your stage 2 sticks....A Comp with those stage 2's will be a very powerful combo that your stock turbo will handle but you will have to turn the Comp down or off when you tow.
