Has anyone put an Auto Start in?
I live up in Nome off the road system. I am looking for some help in trying to wire in a compustart autostart. I am new to mods and electric's are not a fan of mine. that being said. i have gone under the hood numerous times only to just get frustraded and stumped. i dont want to start digging into my daily driver just to have it not run. does anyone have an easy way?

Lots of higher end remote starters can be programed to have a delay between power up and crank allowing for the intake heaters and such, as well as many can be programed for use as a turbo timer as well.

The remote starters for manual trannys have several safety features to keep them from starting in gear.
One feature is after you go though the safety procedure they only allow you to open the door once. If the door gets opened again it won't allow it to start.
They are very safe as long as the installer doesn't bypass the safety devices.
I am very experienced in automotive electrical and have installed several remotes.
Installation is still very time consuming.
As far as I know none are plug and play, there is a lot of splicing involved. At least 25 splices to make.
The factory service manual is essential in order to find all the wires you need to tap into.
Hardest part is getting the wires you need separated out from the tight bundles they're in under the dash enough to tap into.
