I'm sure this has been discussed before, but time goes on, and new products arrive.

I'm looking for a guage mounting solution that would allow me to put 2 1/16" guages across the top of my dash, above the instrument cluster. I have a 2000 Ram. Even if the "pods" only held three guages each, I'd be fine with that.

However, I don't want them up the pillar, since that is already enough of a block to vision. Also, it would require a much different focal length to read them and so they would not be, for me, as noticable if a problem ocurred.

SO my question is this: does anyone know of a source, or has anyone mounted their guages in such a manner?

I have the same dilemma. I was even looking for something to mount gauges on hood.

 

What you need is an Autometer 15002. Do a search on Google and all your questions should be answered. Hope this helps.
