I was looking at he GTech Pro. Did the search on the BB and could not find anything. Has anyone ever used one? If so is it worth the money? Been looking on Ebay and the prices they are getting are close to new.

man, them things were all the rage when they came out. Ive never seen one but had heard they were amazingly accurate and worked well.

 

they work, but sometimes are not accurate. its all in the way the car moves. i had borrowed my friends, it worked fine for me, when he brought it to the drag strip with him and compaired it to his run it was off by alot, i think it may have to do with when he launches his car tries to wheelstand a bit, but not sure. was fun to play with tho and probably worth the money.

 

Like any measurement device, you should consider the results on a comparison basis only. It's better to use it to tune the vehicle after making a change in a stable enviroment instead of using it to brag "I run a 9.76 1/4mi.".
