GSK adjustment

I installed my 3k gsk last year and the petal is really soft. almost jumpy like another thread alittle earlier was saying. any who i got some valve springs and the 4kgsk inner springs to convert my 3k. I was hoping for some input on the adjustment. do you guys think if i tighten the nuts up 1/4 turn that will fix it.
thanks for the input

tightening it more will just raise the idle im pretty sure. Check ur throttle linkage, maybe that main spring on the throttle linkage is about the break (it happens). But the 3gsk is touchy, not sure if u mean it's always soft since u installed it, or if its gotten soft recently?

I had the opposite going on on my 97. so I backed the spring off 1/2 turn and it runs much better. I read somewhere that loose spring makes very soft pedal ,tight spring poor performance . I would try it, but make sure you keep a starting point to go back to.
