Hello guy's Dumb question again--- Just what is the govenor spring kit an how does it INSTALL an what does it do once installed.<br> THANKS Bob ??? ???

 

well, i just got my 3000rpm governor spring kit installed yesterday and: WOW! i haven't even floored it yet as i'm overboosting (gotta adjust the wastegate now). it allows for higher fueling on the top end which makes a big difference. you have to get at the side of the injection pump in order to install the springs. you take out all of the shims and springs except the biggest spring, and install the new springs.<br><br>Tom
